Presidents Day, Not Kings Day Rally

The Mason County Dems took to the streets on Presidents Day, Feb. 17, in front of the Mason County Courthouse, joining the peaceful protest nationwide that day opposing the Trump Administration’s Consolidation of executive power. About 35 hardy Michiganders wanted to remind their community that we live in a democracy, not an oligarchy or dictatorship.

The reason speaking out is so important is that it lowers the perceived risk for those who are still silent but have something to say. Your courage matters. Your voice matter. It makes the waters warmer, no matter the temperature outside!
